The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Stephen R. Covey (1932 – 2012) is the author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and founder of FranklinCovey. His message was always simple: for true success and fulfillment in life, you must live by your principles in all aspects of your life, “There are three constants in life… change, choice and principles.”
In 1985 we started training The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. From the onset, it has proven to be the world’s best ongoing training for personal effectiveness for organizations and professionals. 1989 saw the first version of the same book. If you want to develop yourself and live life by principles that are important to you, then this is the training program for you.
FranklinCovey defines effectiveness as;
- having more control both professionally and personally;
- successfully building meaningful relationships;
- exerting a positive influence on others;
- increasing your capacity;
- strengthening your character and the possibility of getting things done.
This isn’t something learned at one stroke, but it is something that you can apply to your situation today and gradually adopt. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is not just your standard training program, it offers a journey for lasting development.
